Rules:
- This may be a no brainer, but I must add it just in case. The fanfic MUST BE A HP fanfic. This IS an HP site.

- Your fanfiction piece must be no longer than 10,000 words and must be a oneshot. It is up to you to decide how to format the fanfiction after that restriction.

- The piece must follow the following format: Title; Name of Author; Disclaimer; Story. You must disclaim that HP/anything else does not belong to you. You may either make a disclaimer of your own or use the following: "__________ and all related franchises (Movies, games, etc.) do not belong to me. They belong to ______________. I claim no rights to their work, and no profit is being made off of this. The disclaimer is not being counted towards the 10,000 word limit.

- Help is allowed. You may ask a fellow site user to edit/read your piece for you. Ask them to thoroughly criticize the fanfiction.

-Rating. Please keep it down to PG level. It can be PG-13, if need be. So no rape, BDSM, erotica, extreme violence etc. Thank you.

-If there is cursing, violence, or gore of any kind, you WILL HAVE TO place a warning. Regardless of the level, if there is no warning, then it will not be posted in the Contest Archives.

- One is not allowed to submit a fanfiction that is part of one or more of the following:

• -NO crossing over between universes. Bella cannot come and find out that Harry carries Edward's soul. Eragon cannot come and perform a ritualistic sacrifice so as to have his way with Draco.

• -NO “OMG! I fell into the Harry Potter world, and I just don't know what to do!one I'm so helpless!!111" Yes, your character must be a resident of the HP world.

• -NO timetravel. That is.....if your fanfiction takes place during the Chosen One Era. ( JKR herself said that that is not possible anymore. All the time turners were destroyed during the battle that took place at the Ministry. Thus, no time travel during said era. If you chose to disregard this, well....Off with your head!!)
